I know a girl who has a burning passion to tell stories, champion causes and fulfill purpose. That girl is me.

I embraced the MacArthur Foundation Scholarship at Daria Media with great expectations and a burning desire to apply my skills and learn.

From the story treatment guide to dynamic editorial meetings and working on several projects such as the pidgin show, documentaries, production, writing and research, each task opened my eyes to several perspectives and helped me see the  world a little more differently.

This opportunity gave my creative self, wings to fly and the boldness to soar. However, every journey has a destination. I’m not at mine yet but I’m truly grateful for this opportunity. Conquering every challenge met in this journey was a beautiful sight to see.
